EveryCount Terms of Use

Effective .

These terms are an agreement between you and Softcoder EOOD, 10 Stefan Karadzha Street, Sredet District, Sofia 1000, Bulgaria (EIK 208315231) ("we"). Part A applies to everyone who uses EveryCount. Part B applies only when you sign in to an account, and Part C when you have EveryCount Plus or add photos.

Part A: Everyone

A1. Using EveryCount. EveryCount is free to use. EveryCount Plus, which adds photos and large widgets, is an optional paid subscription (see C1). We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app on your devices, under these terms and the rules of the App Store or Google Play you got it from.

A2. Your data on your phone. Without an account, your counters stay on your phone and you are responsible for them. Export a backup if you need one. Uninstalling the app deletes them.

A3. Fair use. Don't use EveryCount for anything illegal. Don't interfere with it, or try to break or get around its security.

A4. No guarantees. EveryCount is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always work without errors. Don't rely on it where a mistake could cause harm.

A5. Liability. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for lost data you could have backed up. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law doesn't let us limit.

A6. Changes. We may update the app and these terms. For important changes to these terms, we will tell you in the app before they apply.

A7. Law. These terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, and disputes go to the courts of Sofia. You keep any protection the laws of your own country give you, including the right to go to your local courts where the law allows.

Part B: Accounts, Sync and sharing

By signing in, you also agree to this part.

B1. Your account. You must be at least 16 if you live in the European Union or European Economic Area, or 13 elsewhere. An account is for one person. Keep your Google or Apple sign-in secure, because whoever controls it controls your account.

B2. Your content stays yours. Your counters, counts, notes, photos, display name and @handle belong to you. You allow us to store, copy, process and show them only as needed to run EveryCount for you:

This permission ends when you delete them or your account. Copies others already saw or saved are outside our control.

B3. Share responsibly. You are responsible for what you share and for the names and notes you write. Anyone can see and copy what you make public. Don't share other people's personal information without their permission.

B4. Not allowed. We have zero tolerance for:

B5. Reports and enforcement. Report content or a person with Report in the app, or by email to [email protected]. We review reports within 24 hours. You can also Block someone: they are removed from your counters and can't join them again. Handles, names and the names of shared counters can't contain slurs or obscene words. If content or an account breaks these terms, we may:

B6. Counts in other people's counters. Counts you add to someone else's counter become part of it. The owner can delete them. They stay there if you leave, and are removed if you delete your account.

B7. Handles and links. If you change your handle, links that use the old one stop working, and someone else may later take it.

B8. The service. Account features are free, except EveryCount Plus (see C1). We may change, limit or end them. If we end Sync or sharing, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data first.

B9. Ending. You can delete your account at any time in the app (You › Account › Delete account) or at share.everycount.app/account/delete. We may suspend or end an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.

Part C: EveryCount Plus and photos

C1. EveryCount Plus. Plus costs $19.99 a year, or the price shown in your store, and renews automatically until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account. The store bills you and handles refunds under its rules. You can buy and use Plus without an EveryCount account. Restore it on supported devices using the same store account, or optionally sign in to link Plus across platforms. If Plus ends, you can no longer add photos; photos you already added stay, and large widgets show the regular layout.

C2. Photos. You may add only photos you have the right to share. Don't add photos that are sexual, violent, hateful, or show other people without their permission. We check photos automatically before others can see them, and we may hide or remove photos that break these terms or the law, and suspend accounts that do. If we hide your photo you'll see why, and you can ask a person to review it. By adding a photo to a shared or public counter you let us show it to the people who can see that counter.
