Delete your EveryCount account
Effective 13 October 2026.
Without an account, EveryCount keeps everything on your phone and there is nothing to delete on our side. To remove it, delete your counters in the app (Data and backup › Delete all data) or uninstall the app.
Delete your account
- In the app: You › Account › Delete account. You confirm by signing in with Google or Apple again.
- Without the app: sign in at share.everycount.app/account/delete with the same Google or Apple account, and delete your account there.
What is deleted
- your account, display name and @handle;
- your counters, including for everyone you shared them with, and their public pages;
- the counts you added to other people's counters;
- your phones, notification settings and follows.
Deletion finishes within 2 weeks; usually it takes a few minutes. We keep only a minimal record that the account was deleted. Copies people already saved, such as exports, are outside our control.
Delete some of your data and keep your account
With Sync on, each of these also removes the data from our servers. Your phone sends the change as soon as it's online, usually within seconds.
- One count and its note: open the counter, tap the count › Delete this count.
- A counter and all its counts: open the counter › ⋯ › Delete counter. It's also removed for everyone you shared it with, and its public page stops working. Our servers finish removing it within 2 weeks, usually within minutes.
- A public page: open the counter › Share › Public page › Off. The page disappears at once.
- Your access to someone else's counter: open it › ⋯ › Leave counter (or Unfollow for a public one). Counts you added stay in their counter; delete them first if you want them gone.
- Your name and @handle: change them any time in You › Account.
Server logs are kept for up to 30 days, and we keep no backups.
